Learning To Learn is an ABA practice dedicated to supporting children with autism and developmental needs through individualized, evidence-based intervention. We specialize inhome-based therapy, delivering support directly at clients' homes to promote learning in natural environments.

Job Description

The Principal Therapist (PT) works directly with clients to implement intervention plans under the supervision of a certified professional (QASP-S or QBA). This role involves supporting individuals with developmental delays and helping them acquire new skills in a structured, compassionate environment. The PT is a senior role and is required to lead the team in program development under the guidance of the Behavior Consultant.

Job Scope

As a Principal Therapist (PT), you will be working with a caseload of 10 to 15 children. Your core responsibility will be to support their behavioral, language, and social development through individualized intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Additionally, you are to lead the team and develop programs and behavior plans under the guidance of the Behavior Consultant.

You will:

  • Help children overcomechallenging behaviors and develop meaningful skills.
  • Learn and apply various evidence-based strategies to manage a wide variety of behaviors, from mild to complex.
  • Be exposed to real-life challenges daily, giving you deep, hands-on experience in behavior management.
  • Work closely with a supervising clinician who will guide your learning and growth in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans.
  • Collect and record data accurately on client behavior and learning progress.
  • Follow protocols and uphold professional standards set by the QABA Board.
  • Support the generalization of skills across settings and caregivers.
  • Participate in training, supervision, and team meetings.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with supervisors, families, and clients.
  • Develop a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) under the guidance of the Behavior Consultant
  • Lead the team in the accurate implementation of the intervention plan
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred —background in Psychology advantageous but not required.
  • Singaporean or Permanent Resident (PR).
Preferred Qualities
  • You have at least 3 years of experience working with children with learning difficulties using ABA
  • You are able to work independently with a high sense of responsibility and strong ethics.
  • You are patient and do not give up easily, even when faced with challenges.
  • You do not mind traveling to different locations across Singapore for therapy sessions.
