Job description

National University Polyclinics (NUP) is seeking a tech‑savvy Communications professional with experience in both cross‑media design and digital projects. This is a dual role that straddles internal communications at the cluster level for the National University Health System (NUHS) and the full spectrum of Communications at the NUP.

It is ideal for graphic designers who are looking to expand their skill sets and level up in the Communications industry.

You should be conversant with cross‑media platforms and possess the competency for both print and digital media (such as electronic direct mailers, e‑newsletters, traditional print collateral, Intranet, website, etc.). The scope of works will span internal announcements, event related creatives, photography and video creation, project management of various communications projects.

You must have a strong understanding and appreciation of interdependencies in various communications functions (such as corporate communications, marketing communications and internal communications) as graphic elements and design can be diversely applied and cross‑pollinated across different platforms (such as social media, digital and print).

You will be expected to:

  • Manage the NUP corporate identity and all its brand assets.
  • Develop NUP collateral and bring consistency across all platforms with the NUHS corporate identity.
  • Build NUP’s brand image through sound conceptualisation and execution of publicity materials and marketing collateral.
  • Work on internal publicity campaigns to instil staff pride.
  • Help plan photography content to upkeep the NUP photobank.
  • Produce collateral, publicity materials and newsletters to deliver announcements and messages to NUHS’ internal stakeholders across various platforms.
  • Undertake other Communications functions, duties and projects such as events management, photo shoots, video shoots, etc.
  • Work closely with other staff in the NUP Communications/Cluster Internal Communications team, internal stakeholders, Communications colleagues from other NUHS entities as well as appointed vendors.
Requirements
  • Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Multimedia or related field with strong portfolio (to be presented during interview)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in digital and interactive media design (in‑house or agency)
  • Hybrid designer with coding abilities for email campaigns, plus digital and print design skills
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft applications
  • Strong knowledge of email marketing, digital platforms, and social media
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to handle multiple deadlines under pressure
  • Creative mindset with awareness of current design trends and innovative thinkingSelf‑motivated, responsible, and eager to learn
  • Detail‑oriented and well‑organised
  • Good writing skills will be an added advantage
