Overview

Job Description - Senior Analyst, Development - Asia Pacific (APA014R9)

Senior Analyst, Development – Asia Pacific (APAC) will provide a point of leverage in development deal administration / management to assist the efficiency and productivity of the Deal team (Directors, VP, SVP) in the pursuit of the strategic objective of the company to expand our global footprint in the development and retention of hotels that carry our brands. You will report to Senior VP, Development – APAC. You will support the APAC Retention and Renewal team and cross-departmental knowledge sharing, analysis and liaison to Development teams located in Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney, Delhi and China.

What you’ll do
  1. Development Strategy and Reporting: With direction from the SVP, draft Hilton’s development strategy for APAC markets, align with target brands and business models, and take ownership of reporting progress. Singapore is the hub for APAC Development, contributing to enterprise-wide reporting.
  2. Reporting structure: Create and maintain Monthly, Quarterly, and Ad Hoc reports including Finance bonus, Conversion, Approvals/starts/terminations, and competitive benchmarking.
  3. Point of Contact for Development Systems (O2NUG / Salesforce, Tableau, Official Reporting): Ensure accurate reporting by understanding how development data is recorded. Train new team members, reconcile KPIs, troubleshoot data with US Development Analytics, and support across departments. Manage the Development inbox and route leads to appropriate team members.
  4. Retention Reporting and Analysis: Record and analyse trends in hotel retention and risks; maintain the APAC risk register; assist in risk analysis of the trading estate; prepare Asset Management Committee agenda/minutes and Investment Committee reporting; review APAC project pipeline integrity.
  5. Strategic Support: Provide support to Senior VP, Development in formulating and tracking the regional development growth strategy for APAC.
  6. Deal Engagement Calls: Facilitate monthly deal engagement calls, liaise with Regional Heads of Development to create meeting agendas, and circulate summarized notes.
  7. Development Authorities (DA): Assist Retention team to author/prepare retention-related DA and support regional teams through internal approval processes per deal approval policy.
  8. Proposal and Presentation Compilation: Draft proposals and presentations for Senior VP, Development and Renewal/Retention functions; manage preparation and timely delivery of high-quality materials.
  9. Marketing: Collaborate with Brand and B2B Marketing to conceptualise, design and produce Development marketing collateral. Be the point of contact for sourcing information and data; provide updated statistics for decks and marketing materials.
  10. Hilton Worldwide Profile: Work to sustain and grow the Hilton Worldwide profile in the marketplace, government, business and social environments.
  11. Portfolio of Brands: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Brand portfolio and product initiatives to position brands and Hilton Worldwide effectively.
  12. Record and Retention: Maintain up-to-date development repository, including enterprise pitch materials, internal reports, and industry reports.
