We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Loan Administration & Operations Manager to join our Corporate Banking Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end loan administration and operational functions for syndicated loans in which the bank acts as Facility and / or Security Agent.
This position plays a vital role in ensuring smooth execution of loan servicing, adherence to contractual and policy requirements, and delivery of high-quality service to our clients and stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle loan administration and operations for syndicated loans, performing dual functions as maker and checker.
- Manage day-to-day activities including drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, interest adjustments, and maintenance of loan records.
- Liaise with borrowers, lenders, facility agents, and internal stakeholders on all loan administration and operational matters.
- Monitor and disseminate information related to borrower undertakings, covenants, and compliance requirements.
- Address queries from borrowers and lenders on loan operation matters promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all transactions are executed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with loan agreements and internal policies.
- Oversee and maintain service levels and quality standards across loan operations.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on project initiatives, process enhancements, and support to junior team members.
- Support corporate clients by addressing inquiries and delivering a positive and professional customer experience.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in syndicated loan agency operations within a banking environment.
- Strong understanding of the loan lifecycle and the role of a facility agent.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply loan agreement terms effectively.
- Working knowledge of SWIFT message construction and Debt Domain is an advantage.
- Meticulous and analytical, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with resilience under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Candidates with lesser experience will be considered for Analyst / Senior Analyst positions.
