Job summary

A leading technology company in Singapore is looking for a qualified accounting professional with at least 5 years of experience in GST reporting and corporate tax reporting. Responsibilities include GST Returns and US GAAP reporting, along with support for audits. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance and familiarity with Oracle ERP.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in accounting and system processes in Electronics Manufacturing industry or a related field.
• Experience in implementing workflow and system processes preferred.
• Strong knowledge and experiences in GST standards is required.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• GST Returns reporting
• Other indirect taxes reporting - withholding tax and VAT
• US GAAP reporting
• SFRS Statutory and corporate tax reporting
• Implementation of IRAS’ InvoiceNow
• Other General Ledger functions
• Corporate Finance assignments for statutory and corporate tax reporting
• Support of statutory audit and tax audits
• Support of other Corporate Finance functions
• Any others duties assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 5 years experience in accounting and system processes in Electronics Manufacturing industry or in a related field is preferred
• Experience in implementing workflow and system processes preferred
• Working experience in GST reporting
• Strong knowledge and experiences in GST standards is required
• Familiarity in US GAAP is advantageous
• Working knowledge of Oracle ERP
• Good proficiency in MS Office applications – Excel
• Basic proficiency in MS Office applications – Word, Powerpoint & Visio (preferred)
