Roles & Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for a vigilant and experienced Security Supervisor to lead our security team at various job sites. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily supervision of ground officers, ensuring strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and managing incident responses effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership: Supervise, deploy, and brief a team of Senior Security Officers (SSO) and Security Officers (SO).
2. Operations Management: Conduct daily guard mounting, briefing/debriefing, and ensure proper handover of duties between shifts.
3. Incident Response: Act as the first point of contact for security incidents (fire, intrusion, medical emergencies). Lead the initial investigation and submit detailed incident reports.
4. Surveillance & Systems: Oversee the Fire Command Centre (FCC) or Security Command Centre operations, including monitoring CCTV and fire alarm systems.
5. Compliance: Ensure all officers strictly follow the PLRD regulations and site-specific SOPs (e.g., visitor registration, vehicle checks).
6. Drills & Safety: Assist in conducting fire drills, evacuation exercises, and tabletop exercises.
7. Induction: Conduct on-the-job training (OJT) and induction for new security personnel.

Requirements

1. Possess a valid PRD Security Officer License with the grade of Security Supervisor (SS).
2. GCE "O" Level or equivalent.
3. Minimum 3 years of security experience in a supervisory capacity.
4. Proficient in English (spoken and written) to handle reporting and radio communications.
5. Computer literacy (Microsoft Word/Excel) for report writing.
6. Physical fit to conduct patrolling and handle emergency situations.
7. Willingness to perform shift work (12-hour shifts, weekends, and public holidays).
