Job summary

A security services provider in Singapore is seeking a skilled Operations Manager to oversee daily site operations, conduct risk assessments, and maintain client relationships. The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma/Degree from a reputable institution and experience in security management is preferred. Additionally, having a background as a Commissioned Officer from the Singapore Armed Forces or as a Senior Officer from the Singapore Police Force is advantageous. This role also involves training new personnel and ensuring adherence to security protocols.

• Possess own vehicle with class 3 license is an advantage.

Job Description

• Responsible and accountable for effectively managing the day-to-day operations/allocated contract sites and staffs by providing highest quality to employees and Clients
• Conduct security and safety risk assessment surveys of the assignments allocated
• Conduct investigations and vet incident reports submitted by the security team and prepare AAR of the incident
• Ensure all site requirements according to the site file and in compliance with PLRD requirements
• Ensure 100% compliance of security personnel deployed to contractual headcount, turnout and bearing, discipline, licensing conditions and code of conduct
• Ensure prompt distribution of site officers welfare items, stationaries, equipment’s, memos. Letters and forms
• Ensure all leave application forms hardcopy or electronically with MCs or any other letters such as resignation are being followed up and delivered to HQ
• Ensure monthly report for every sites are being delivered to Clients and documents submitted for billings
• Submission of weekly roster for all sites allocated are promptly updated
• Overall in-charge of day-to-day operations of security personnel redeployment to the sites preventing shortfalls
• Conduct OJT training for new hires and conduct refresher on SOP
• Handle workplace investigation, grievance and discipline
• Plan and schedule training for security personnel in alignment with PWM requirements
• Plan and conduct periodic exercises minimum 1 Exercise Drill/TTX per site to ensure the vigilance and operational capabilities of security personnel
• Assist with recruitment and selection of security personnel
• Manage and review security procedures

Client Liaison

• Maintain good working relationship with Clients
• Constant engagement with Clients for feedbacks on security performance
• Ensure service deliverables are met
• Initiate service recovery where appropriate and promptly
• Promptly address all outstanding issues
• Attend to clients’ complaints, feedbacks and queries

Requirements

No experience in the Security Industry are welcome.

Minimum Diploma/Degree qualification from reputable institutions.
