Job summary

A leading security services company in Singapore seeks a Security Officer to monitor and control access, conduct regular patrols, and respond to security incidents. The ideal candidate must possess a valid Security Officer License and be physically fit. Prior experience in industrial or commercial building security is preferred. This role requires the flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, ensuring a safe environment for all personnel and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access at main entry points.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the building and car park.

  • Prepare daily occurrence reports to the Security Supervisor.

Security Officer
Working Hours:

Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Work Days: Monday to Sunday (including Public Holidays)

Job Description:

Monitor and control access at the main gate, lobby, and loading bay, ensuring only authorized personnel, vehicles, and visitors enter the premises.

Conduct regular patrols of the building exterior, car park, and common facilities (excluding production zones).

Operate and monitor CCTV systems, alarm panels, and access control equipment.

Maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and contractor logs.

Attend to car park matters, including assisting drivers and reporting any gantry or ticketing system issues to the supervisor or maintenance personnel.

Identify and report any safety or security hazards and respond promptly to suspicious activities or incidents.

Assist in emergency situations such as fire alarms or evacuations in accordance with site protocols.

Prepare and submit daily occurrence reports and incident records to the Security Supervisor or Property Management.

Provide assistance and directions to tenants, staff, and visitors when required.

Requirements:

Valid Security Officer License.

Able to perform rotating shifts (day/night/weekends/public holidays).

Physically fit, observant, and responsible.

Basic English communication and report writing skills.

Prior experience in industrial or commercial building security preferred.
