Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore seeks a Project Manager to oversee all projects related to sourcing new equipment and improving existing production machines. This role requires experience in engineering functions, excellent analytical and leadership skills, and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively. Job description

Manage and oversee all projects related to sourcing and commissioning of new equipment and improvements on existing production machines with a widened interest to achieve organizational goals.

Strategy
  • Formulate systems, procedures, and introduce necessary tools needed for effective functioning of equipment engineering and the projects undertaken.
  • Be vigilant about market situations on technology and developments. Bring value added improvements to process, product and materials.
  • Work closely with counterparts in France to derive, exchange and implement the best practices, methods and technologies.
  • Work in close relationship with various production workshops to define and develop improvement projects that brings new level of quality for products and process.
  • Set goals and prioritize improvement in methodology, practices and skills expertise for workforce.
Continuous improvement
  • Set goals and prioritise improvement in methodology, process and skills expertise for workforce.
  • Assess and provide all engineering requirements and training needed for the team.
  • Recommend and administer policies, methods and procedures to enhance process capability.
  • Manage process deviations and engineering changes within the system.
  • To develop the team competency and always an eye on succession of team members.
  • Drive and improve process capabilities, quality and reliability.
  • Continuously look for opportunities for improving the system, practices and methodology.
  • Familiar with TPM, FMEA, Lean or other process improvement tools.

  • Preferably with managerial experience in engineering functions.

  • Excellent analytical skills to address complex issues and take decisions timely.
