We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented SCM Manager to oversee the company’s procurement activities while also managing production planning and warehouse logistics operations. The role will be responsible for securing cost-effective sourcing, ensuring efficient production scheduling, and optimizing warehouse and distribution processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of supply chain management, and a track record of delivering cost-effective procurement solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.
Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.
Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality, compliance, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
Production Planning: Coordinate production schedules with material availability to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment.
Inventory Optimization: Collaborate with inventory and production teams to ensure optimal stock levels and reduce waste.
Warehouse & Logistics Management: Manage warehouse operations and logistics to ensure accurate inventory, efficient storage, and timely distribution of goods while ensuring safety and compliance with standards and best practices
Risk Management: Monitor market trends and assess potential supply risks; develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies.
Cost Control: Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate procurement processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Team Leadership: Supervise and support procurement staff, promoting professional development and high performance.
Ad-hoc Support – Assist with departmental tasks and projects on an ad-hoc basis to support business priorities.
