Overview
Scheduling Coordinator (Media Flypacks)
Our clients are seeking a detail-oriented Coordinator to manage the efficient scheduling of flypacks and OB (Outside Broadcast) facilities across a dynamic portfolio of projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring optimal resource utilization and seamless project execution.
Responsibilities
- Strategically schedule flypacks and OBs to optimize utilization across concurrent projects
- Balance competing priorities across Sales, Engineering, and Delivery teams to meet shared commercial goals
- Understand the functional differences and overlaps between facility types to recommend the best-fit solutions
- Communicate availability clearly to stakeholders, flagging conflicts early and offering practical resolutions
- Maintain accurate, real-time schedules to ensure alignment across departments
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Partner with Sales to identify revenue opportunities and maximize facility usage
- Coordinate with Logistics to ensure clarity on timelines, transport, and location requirements
- Liaise with Engineering to factor in technical constraints and capabilities
- Support Finance with scheduling data and forecasts as needed
Position Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work unsupervised for most day-to-day responsibilities, escalating only when needed
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a cross-functional environment managing time-critical services dependent on equipment delivery.
- At least 2 years of experience in broadcast television and logistics
- A quick learner who is not afraid to ask questions
- Quick adaptability to new processes and software applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
