About Caritas Singapore

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and implement customized solutions within the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a problem‑solving mindset, and experience working with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain custom applications, integrations, and workflows on the Salesforce platform.
  • Customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, and record types to meet business needs.
  • Implement and optimize Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components.
  • Integrate Salesforce with third‑party applications and APIs.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
  • Ensure data integrity and security within Salesforce environments.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and deployment using best practices.
  • Knowledge and experience on Project Management framework.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce releases and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
  • Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in Salesforce Core CRM functionalities, including:
    • Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts
    • Management of standard and custom objects
    • Reports and Dashboards
    • Security and Sharing Settings
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL.
  • Experience with Salesforce configuration and declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder).
  • Familiarity with integration tools (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware).
  • Salesforce Developer certification(s) preferred.
  • Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
Nice‑to‑Have
  • Experience with non‑profit Salesforce solutions (e.g., Nonprofit Success Pack).
  • Knowledge of donation and volunteer platforms and accounting integrations.
