We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Sales Support Executive to join our dynamic APAC team. This role is specifically designed as a strategic entry point for candidates aiming for accelerated career progression within Marcolin's Commercial organization.
You will play a pivotal role in optimizing sales operations across North Asia and South Asia, providing critical administrative, analytical, and operational support.
This position is an ideal foundation for a future commercial leader, given the exposure to senior Commercial Heads and the deep dive into regional sales strategy, performance metrics, and operational mechanics.
What you will do:
Sales Forecasting & Planning Support:
- Assist Regional Commercial Heads in developing and consolidating accurate sales forecasts by market, brand, and product category.
- Gather and analyse historical sales data, market trends, and economic indicators to support forecasting efforts.
- Prepare and update sales planning documents and presentations.
Sales Reporting & Analysis:
- Generate regular and ad-hoc sales reports (e.g., weekly, monthly, quarterly sales performance, brand performance, territory performance).
- Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Create insightful dashboards and presentations for internal stakeholders.
Inventory Management & Order Fulfillment Coordination:
- Monitor inventory levels in conjunction with sales forecasts and customer demand to prevent stock-outs or overstock.
- Liaise with supply chain, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure timely order processing, shipment, and delivery.
- Track order status and provide proactive updates to Regional Commercial Managers and, when necessary, to customers.
- Address and resolve order-related issues (e.g., discrepancies, damages, returns) efficiently.
Administrative & Operational Assistance:
- Manage and organize sales-related documentation, contracts, and agreements.
- Assist with budgeting and cost control initiatives related to sales operations.
- Handle general office administration and ad-hoc tasks as required to support the commercial team.
Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis Support:
- Assist in collecting and compiling market information, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Support the Regional Commercial Heads in preparing market reviews and business development plans.
Do you have what it takes?
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales support, sales operations, or administrative role, preferably within the consumer goods, fashion, or luxury industries.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (advanced skills required for data analysis and reporting) and PowerPoint.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in a relevant Asian language (e.g., Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, Thai, Korean, Japanese) is a significant advantage.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced, international team environment.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable with a strong customer service orientation.
