Job summary

Job description

We are looking for people who can handle complexity and deals with ambiguity well. On-the-job-training will help you develop your social, technical and personal skills. The right candidate can look forward to a career track leading to a middle management role.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day operational aspects of a business unit (intergroup company trading)

    • Import & Export documentation

    • Pricing support for group company trading

    • Process defects claims

    • Support marine insurance claims

  • Support/maintain in-house system

    • Update of data, system enhancement

    • Provide training to new users, assist users in troubleshooting

  • Prepare management reports and Key Performance Indicator reports

  • Support ad-hoc cross-department projects

  • Occasional travelling may be required

Requirements
  • Diploma/ Degree in Business & Management cluster: Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management related or equivalent.

  • Good communications, interpersonal and negotiation skills – able to communicate across all levels

  • Analytical, detailed and meticulous

  • Able to manage wide array of functions in a business unit

  • Good shipping acknowledge will be advantageous

  • Able to apply Hō-Ren-Sō and Kaizen

  • Proficiency in MS Excel (Must), Data Analysis, Presentation skills, Problem Solving

  • Early career candidates with 3-5 years of work experience are welcome to apply
