Job Summary
The primary objective of the Sales Representative is to ensure attainment of sales objectives by providing excellent service and advice to current customers within an assigned hospitals / clinics / surgeons, whilst also leveraging new and existing business with the aim of growing market share. He/she is also expected to provide guidance to junior sales reps in sales activities.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide account management and maintain good rapport with customers to ensure attainment of sales objectives
- Build and establish relationships with key decision markers to grow sales and share in the Orthopaedics Implant market
- Liaise with Sales & Marketing Manager to identify business growth opportunities; develop/execute sales and budgeting plans
- Assist surgeons and nurses in the use of Zimmer’s instruments and products in surgeries
- Work with Operations/Distributors to ensure the delivery of complete instrument and implant to customer/operating theatre
- Conduct product training/workshops
- Actively participate in product training/workshops to enhance product knowledge and surgical techniques
- Study relevant clinical articles/information to enhance knowledge and provide relevant advice to internal/external customers
- Show leadership and guidance in interaction with junior sales reps, with view of being groomed to be a future segment leader.

Education/ Experience Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Life Science/Science, Nursing or business/marketing
- Minimum 2 years’ sales experience in the Orthopaedic Implant sales to hospitals.
- Experience in nursing (operating theatre) is an added bonus
- Able to work after office hours / flexibility for case coverage support
