Job description
Overview

One of our clients is looking for a candidate with the experience described below.

Responsibilities
  • To achieve sales targets set and achieve distribution targets in the area.
  • Conduct regular stock rotation within the assigned area to minimize stock returns.
  • Plan sales call coverage to ensure all outlets are visited; carry out trade activities within agreed parameters; provide timely feedback on competitor activities; follow the company’s credit management policy and report to Senior Sales Representative.
  • Understand the basic steps of selling procedures.
  • Follow according to coverage plan route and achieve sales call procedures.
  • Monitor and recommend the optimal stock holding level to retailers.
  • Replenishment to outlets as necessary, in addition to regular daily sales calls.
  • Achieve the agreed sales volume set by the area manager.
  • Daily tracking of sales versus targets.
  • Sell the right quantity to outlets to avoid out-of-stock or overstock situations.
  • Achieve distribution targets and sell to the right outlets with good recommendations of the right quality.
  • Manage the itinerary to ensure all outlets allocated per day are serviced.
  • Perform physical stock checks for freshness during every sales call at outlets.
  • Execute trade activities with retailers according to the cycle plan.
  • Explain and communicate trade activities mechanics to retailers.
  • Regular sales calls according to route and build good rapport with retailers to foster a good working relationship.
  • Actively monitor and adhere to the company payment policy within the area.
  • Provide constant feedback to supervisor about actions if any customers intend to change their existing payment mode.
