Job Summary

As a Sales Executive at Momentum Z, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by selling our cybersecurity products and services to new and existing clients. This role involves identifying opportunities, building relationships, and closing deals in a competitive market. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented professional with a passion for technology and sales, capable of articulating the value of cybersecurity solutions to C-level executives and IT decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and generate leads through networking cold calling, email campaigns, and attending industry events to identify potential clients in need of cybersecurity solutions.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and product demonstrations to showcase how Momentum Z's products (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, software solutions) and services (e.g., penetration testing, security audits) address client pain points.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with keystakeholders, including IT directors, CISOs, and business owners, to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, quotes, and contracts tailored to client requirements, ensuring alignment with Momentum Z's pricing and service models.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by closing deals and upselling additional services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as technical support and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and gather feedback for product improvements.
  • Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes (e.g., Singapore's PDPA and Cybersecurity Act) to provide informed recommendations.
  • Track sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics using CRM tools like Salesforce to report progress to management.
  • Participate in trade shows, webinars, and client meetings to represent Momentum Z and promote our brand.
  • Handle objections, negotiate terms, and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Hands on person, who is self-motivated.
Qualifications and Skills We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP) are a plus.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in cybersecurity, IT software/services, or technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas, with experience in consultative selling and solution-based approaches.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including threat landscapes, risk management, and compliance standards relevant to Singapore and ASEAN markets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical solutions in simple terms to non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with strong organizational skills to manage a sales pipeline independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly, negotiate effectively, and handle rejection in a high-pressure environment.
  • Willingness to travel within Singapore and occasionally to regional clients (e.g., Malaysia, Indonesia).
  • A team player with a customer-first mindset, ethical approach to sales, and enthusiasm for staying ahead in the fast-paced cybersecurity industry.
