About Our Client
My client is the Asia HQ of the UK‑headquartered global leader in precious metal recovery and refining. My client is based in Tuas and its core solutions include the provision of thermal and chemical waste treatment services to customers in electronics, aerospace, pharmaceuticals, and industrial manufacturing.
Job Description
- Identify and manage new business opportunities in precious metal refining and industrial waste treatment across APAC.
- Engage stakeholders in fine chemicals, petrochemicals, and pharmaceutical industries.
- Lead the full sales cycle— from lead qualification to pricing, proposal, negotiation, and closure.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Service, Laboratory, Operations, Logistics) for seamless execution.
- Advise clients on pricing, documentation, and international waste transport/export processes.
- Coordinate with in‑country agents and logistics providers for permit applications and compliance.
- Maintain CRM records and contribute to market intelligence and competitor insights.
The Successful Applicant
- About 5 years of B2B sales or business development experience in industrial/manufacturing sectors (preferably chemical products, industrial waste, or metals trading).
- Familiar with Asian markets and open to regional travel (about 30%).
- Strong hunter‑farmer mindset – able to develop new markets and nurture existing ones.
- Experience with international logistics, export regulations, and working with regional agents.
