Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Sales Executive for business development in the shipping industry, located in Tanjong Penjuru. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience and will be responsible for client acquisition and maintaining client relationships. Salary is up to $4500 plus performance bonuses. The role operates under a permanent contract with regular work hours from Monday to Friday.

Overview

Position: Sales Executive (Business Development / Shipping / MUST HAVE FREIGHT) - ALL WELCOME

Location: Tanjong Penjuru

Working hours: 5 days work week; Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

Salary (commensurate with experience): Gross salary Up to $4500 + Performance Bonus

Duration: Permanent

Responsibilities

• Procuring new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and through existing contacts.
• Running outbound campaigns (phone calls, emails, etc.) to create sales opportunities
• Identifying and researching opportunities that come up in new and existing markets
• Developing and presenting proposals customized for each client’s specific business needs
• Communicating with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions to their problems
• Develop a strategy to follow up with leads and determine new opportunities to pursue
• Preparing and delivering pitches and presentations to potential new clients
• Reviewing clients\' feedback and implementing necessary changes.
• Creating positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients
• Ensuring excellent customer service through regular client follow up
• Translating proposals into ready-to-sign contracts
• Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
• Maintaining meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained.
