Responsibilities
  • Cold calls to prospects & sales visits;
  • Account & Relationship Management

  • Promote international air and ocean services;
  • Achieve sales targets;
  • Identify potential clients and develop new accounts (hunter role);
  • To manage sales and daily logistics duties;
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction;
  • Conduct Marketplace and research;
  • Identify and enlarge targeted customer base;
  • Ensure smooth freight service from pick up to delivery;
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager.
Requirements
  • At least Nitec/Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management/Shipping or a related field;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships (both internal and external);
  • Good problem-solving skills and able to work under pressure;
  • Proactive, well-organized with a keen eye for detail;
  • Able to work independently or in a team-based environment;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office;
  • At least 2 years of sales experience in the import/export freight industry;
  • Bilingual in English, Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates;
  • Prior experience with freight/shipping sales would be advantageous.
