Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a Sales Director to join the Customer Team in the Civil Aerospace business. Join a team that helps Rolls‑Royce prosper.

The main objectives of a Sales Director in this team are to deliver business and maximise profit for both new aircraft and in‑service fleets through original equipment sales and long‑term maintenance support agreements.

You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, developing sales strategies, positioning Rolls‑Royce products and services, developing campaign tactics, pitching commercial solutions and negotiating complex and high‑value proposals.

The role will be located in Singapore with future opportunities to be considered for roles in our main global offices: Beijing (China), Singapore, Abu Dhabi (UAE), Reston (USA) or Derby (UK).

Qualifications and Experience
  • Demonstrated broad business acumen, high levels of interpersonal savvy, good customer focus and a strong drive for results.
  • Education to degree level or equivalent; MBA is an advantage but not required.
  • Ability to understand the customer's view to anticipate their needs.
  • Capability to influence across all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Knowledge of the aerospace/aviation industry and understanding of Rolls‑Royce products and services is an added advantage.
  • Culturally aware, ideally with international experience. Diverse cultural background is welcome.
  • Willingness to travel as the role demands.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.
What You Will Need
  • Proven record of achieving sales targets or relevant experience that would be valuable in a sales role. Direct experience in sales is not required; remuneration will be matched to experience.
  • Leadership qualities and management skills.
  • Provide a suitable CV (maximum 2 pages) and a covering letter stating why you would make a good Sales Director.
