Job summary

Responsibilities
  1. Proactively identify potential clients and untapped partnership opportunities.
  2. Hunt, win and generate business leads through networking, cold calling and leveraging CRM tools.
  3. Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to win new business, retain existing business and help the company expand.
  4. Design, develop and implement solutions, addressing the logistics needs of potential and existing clients.
  5. Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFQ/tender/bid responses.
  6. Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with company objectives.
  7. Lead KPI delivery and period service reviews with clients.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service/solution implementation and service delivery.
  9. Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities.
Job Requirements
  • Certification in Logistics and/or Supply Chain would be an added advantage.
  • Min. 5 years in a customer facing role in freight forwarding, shipping line, air cargo, logistics, supply chain or similar industries, in the roles of business development, sales, commercial, operations or customer service.
  • Large contact base of Oil & Energy related clients, shippers, consignees or suppliers.
  • Knowledge of logistics and freight solutions related to the Oil & Energy industry.
  • Track record in business development and solution crafting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
