A leading logistics company in Singapore is searching for a logistics coordinator to handle incoming orders and manage shipments. Responsibilities include liaising with customers and suppliers, negotiating with forwarders, and preparing shipping documents. Applicants should possess a diploma with at least 2 years of relevant experience and be proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office, and Excel. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this fast-paced role.
Coordinating incoming orders with customers and suppliers, and managing the shipments to customers.
Liaising with customers for all incoming orders and issuing of Purchase Orders
Monitoring of sales order status for items when order is received and ensuring all requirements for fulfillment of orders are coordinated.
Negotiation with forwarder over rates, liaising with forwarder for import and export shipments of the Company.
Working closely with customers & suppliers, as required regarding shipping matters, building and maintaining good rapport with both parties.
Preparing of Shipping documents & Letter of Credit.
Verification of Supplier & Forwarder Invoices.
Performing order processing activities in SAP
Other adhoc duties as assigned
