Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a blend of account management and new business development, playing a crucial role in our company's expansion.
1. Client & Account Management
- Manage Existing Client Portfolio: Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Grow Accounts: Identify and execute opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing client relationships.
2. Market Research & Strategy
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Assist in developing and executing effective strategies to introduce new products/services or penetrate new market segments.
3. Business Development & Sourcing
- New Client Acquisition: Proactively identify, research, and source new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, digital outreach, and industry events.
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales pipeline from initial lead qualification through to closing the deal.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Formal sales experience is not required! We provide comprehensive training. What matters most is your drive and potential.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to and negotiating with clients.
- Mindset: A proactive, self-starter attitude. Must be highly goal-oriented and resilient in the face of challenges.
- Learning: Eagerness to learn about our industry, products, and effective sales methodologies.
- Technical: Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., MS Office/Google Workspace). Experience with a CRM system is a plus, but not required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or similar experience.
- 0-2 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a relevant client-facing role.
- Eagerness to learn about surveillance systems, video management software (VMS), CCTV, IP cameras, and related security technologies.
- Strong foundational communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and a strong desire to achieve targets.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is a mandatory requirement to effectively communicate with our diverse client base. Proficiency in additional regional languages (e.g., Thai, Bahasa, etc.) is a significant advantage.
