The company works closely across sales, design, and operations teams to ensure accurate scoping, transparent pricing, and a smooth transition from client onboarding to project delivery.

Role Overview

The Sales Associate is responsible for converting incoming leads into confirmed renovation and design projects.
This role focuses on client consultations, preparing quotations, and close coordination with designers to ensure that project requirements, budgets, and timelines are clearly defined and properly communicated for execution.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Engagement
  • Understand client needs, design preferences, budgets, and timelines;
  • Present the company’s services, design process, and pricing structures clearly and professionally;
  • Build strong relationships with potential clients to improve conversion rates;
  • Schedule and coordinate in-person or virtual consultations with the design team.
Quotation & Pricing
  • Prepare accurate and detailed quotations based on project scope and client requirements;
  • Understand cost components, including materials, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and design fees;
  • Ensure quotations comply with internal pricing guidelines and margin targets;
  • Revise quotations promptly based on client feedback or scope changes;
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of renovation costs, supplier pricing, and market benchmarks.
Sales Administration & Coordination
  • Track leads, follow-ups, and sales progress in the CRM system;
  • Prepare sales documentation, including proposals, service agreements, and onboarding forms;
  • Ensure smooth handover of confirmed projects to designers, project managers, or contractors;
  • Monitor and report weekly sales performance and pipeline status.
Collaboration
  • Work closely with designers to clarify scope and feasibility during quotation preparation;
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors when required to obtain updated pricing or technical details;
  • Share client insights and common questions with the marketing team to improve lead quality;
  • Support accurate information flow between sales and design teams.
Market & Product Knowledge
  • Stay informed on interior design trends, renovation materials, and pricing;
  • Maintain knowledge of the company’s project portfolio for client discussions;
  • Understand renovation regulations, permits, and basic technical concepts (training provided).
Requirements
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles;
  • Background in interior design, renovation, real estate, or lifestyle industries is a plus;
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and standard office software;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to explain design concepts in a clear, client-friendly way;
  • Good numerical skills and attention to detail for quotation preparation;
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple leads;
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in interior design or renovation sales;
  • Understanding of renovation cost structures and basic technical requirements;
  • Ability to read simple floor plans (trainable);
  • Multilingual communication skills.
