Job summary

A leading media company in Singapore is looking for an Assistant Sales Manager to lead client acquisition and develop sales strategies. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience in sales or account management. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Japanese is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage client acquisition efforts through effective sales pitching (both online and in-person)
  • Identify, evaluate, and understand clients’ needs to deliver tailored proposals and marketing solutions
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term business relationships with Japanese and non-Japanese clients
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to conceptualize and deliver impactful marketing campaigns
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging business opportunities and potential partnerships
  • Ensure client satisfaction through excellent service and proactive follow-up to drive contract renewals
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of sales or account management experience, preferably in media, advertising, or marketing
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Japanese is a strong advantage (to liaise with Japanese clients)
