Sales and Marketing Manager

Overview

Boost revenue growth by actively seeking and securing new clients, sponsors, and strategic partnerships for a diverse range of events, including engaging conferences, dynamic exhibitions, entertaining music concerts, and impactful corporate activations. These efforts will drive attendance, enhance brand visibility, and create memorable experiences for participants.

1. Strategic Growth & Market Expansion

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities such as exhibitions, corporate events, activations, and partnerships
  • Develop and execute sale strategies to meet revenue targets, including market research and competitor analysis
  • Forecast trends and adjust business plans to capitalise on emerging opportunities (e.g. experiential marketing, hybrid events)
  • Purchasing new equipment that would help the company gain an advantage in the events industry

2. Operational Execution & Project Oversight

  • Coordinate end-to-end event delivery, including logistics, vendor management, and budget adherence
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Marketing, Tech) to ensure seamless project execution
  • Troubleshoot on-site issues and ensure compliance with safety/legal standards

3. Reporting to

  • Group Business Development Manager

Qualifications & Experiences

Mandatory:

  • 4+ years in event business development, sales, events, or sponsorship roles

Preferred:

  • Experience in specific event types:

- Corporate Conferences

  • Existing network in target sectors
