Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Safety Officer to ensure a safe and compliant work environment across construction sites. You will implement safety policies, conduct inspections, and liaise with the project team and subcontractors. Candidates must be registered with MOM and possess a diploma or degree in a relevant discipline, with at least 3 years of experience in building construction. Strong knowledge of WSH regulations is essential for this role.

Well-established A1 Main Contractor with a strong track record in delivering large-scale building developments across Singapore. With a growing project pipeline, they are expanding their site safety team to support ongoing and upcoming projects.

The Role

As a Safety Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment across building construction sites. You will work closely with the Project Team, subcontractors, and stakeholders to drive strong safety culture and maintain compliance with MOM and WSH regulations.

Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor, and enforce Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) policies on site
• Conduct daily site inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification
• Ensure compliance with MOM, WSH Act, and relevant safety regulations
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, and incident records
• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and site inductions
• Investigate incidents, near‑misses, and unsafe practices, and recommend corrective actions
• Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors, and safety auditors
• Support safety audits and inspections by authorities and internal teams

Requirements
