The ideal candidate will have a minimum of Secondary School education and 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the Oil and Gas or Construction industry. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, educating workers on safety practices, and assisting in accident investigations. The WSH Coordinator (WSHC) supports the organisation's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) procedures by conducting safety checks to ensure compliance with organisational and legal standards. Key responsibilities include observing daily work practices, gathering worker feedback, evaluating workplace risks and hazards, and escalating issues that need corrective and preventive actions. The role requires outdoor work, relevant physical fitness, keen observational skills, and a strong understanding of WSH requirements. Additionally, the WSHC must complete necessary WSH-related training to perform their duties effectively.
