Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking a Safety Coordinator with strong compliance knowledge and at least 1 year of experience in the Semi-Conductor Industry, along with 2 years in Construction. The ideal candidate will implement OHS policies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure a safe working environment. An Advance Certificate in WSH and certifications in safety management are mandatory. Proficiency in Chinese is also required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Safety Coordinator in the Semi-Conductor Industry.
• 2 years of experience in the Construction Industry.
• Required certifications in Manage Work at Height, First Aider, and WSH Coordinator Training.
• Excellent knowledge of hazardous materials and legislations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate compliance with OSH guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct risk assessments regularly.
• Enforce all rules and regulations at the site.
• Plan and implement OHS policies effectively.
• Prepare and present reports on safety issues.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Responsible for facilitating compliance with OSH guidelines. Your goal will be to always ensure safe working environment and prevent any injuries and accidents.
• To conduct risk assessment
• Adhere to all the rules and regulations at the site.
• Plan and implement OHS policies
• Enforce preventative measures
• Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes
• Oversee workplace repair, installations and any other work that could harm employees' safety
• Maintain Safety documentation as per ISO4501
• Ad-hoc job require on off according to the site

Job Requirement

• At least 1 years of experience as a Safety Coordinator in Semi-Conductor Industry
• At least 2 years experience in Construction Industry
• Excellent knowledge of legislations and procedures
• Excellent knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
• Experience with writing policies and procedures for health and safety
• Required to certification in Manage Work at Height, First Aider and WSH Coordinator Training.
• Able to read & write in Chinese
• Main HQ is in Taiwan
• Able to start immediately or within a short notice period
• Minimal Qualification: Advance Certificate in WSH
