Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement applications for industrial robotics and automation systems.
  • Create robot simulation models and off-line programming for effective operations.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and diagnostics to robot operators and engineers.
  • Train operators and engineers on robot programming, maintenance, and process applications.
  • Establish and manage maintenance and preventive maintenance plans throughout the industrialization process.
  • Implement lean methodologies to identify and enhance robotics and automation processes within the global network.
  • Maintain and update the Robotics Database and Robot Management System.
  • Seek continuous improvement opportunities to advance robotics and automation services.
  • Keep project deliverables on schedule and effectively communicate progress to all organizational levels.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a precision machining environment or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, such as Solidworks or NX.
  • Hands-on experience with robotics operations, sensors, servo systems, and motion control systems.
  • Programming experience with industrial robot brands such as FANUC, ABB, KUKA, MOTOMAN, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including experience with FMEA and 8D methodologies.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement practices, such as Six Sigma and lean manufacturing.
