Job description

You will be joining a dynamic team at CommBank dedicated to enhancing financial wellbeing for individuals and businesses. Your role as a Risk and Controls Senior Manager Line 1 will be based in Bengaluru at Manyata Tech Park. The Technology Chief Controls Office (CCO) team, responsible for supporting CBA in strengthening its risk culture, will be your primary team. Your contributions will play a crucial role in providing specialist risk advice to Corporate Technology and supporting the organization in delivering change safely.Your main responsibilities will include overseeing the design and implementation of controls to improve risk and compliance outcomes, providing guidance to senior leaders, conducting technology risk assessments, and fostering a proactive risk and control culture. You will work closely with the business to provide insights for informed decision-making and assurance over controls. Additionally, you will lead risk and control enablement initiatives and provide local line management to India resources across different portfolios.To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in risk and/or control advisory in banking, financial services, or related sectors. Strong soft skills, including stakeholder management and critical thinking, will be essential. Experience in Change Risk, Cloud, Technology, and Cyber roles is preferred, along with familiarity with APRA standards or Cloud risk frameworks.A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology is required, along with certifications such as CISM, CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, CDPSE, COBIT, ITIL, CISSP, or other IT risk-related certifications.
