Job description

Our client is looking for a French Speaking General Manager with a large network in Singapore Retail. Based in Singapore, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the sales network. Accountable for performance, you will ensure the implementation of recommended commercial actions and the achievement of defined objectives. You will negotiate with strategic decision-makers, fostering customer loyalty while securing new business with prospects. Prospecting, negotiating, monitoring KPIs, executing sales plans, and hitting sales targets are part of your everyday routine.

Main responsibilities
  • In collaboration with the President and Group Marketing, develop the annual sales action plan, pricing strategy, qualitative and quantitative sales objectives, individual margin targets, monthly and quarterly forecasts, priority commercial targets, incentives, and the provisional sales budget.
  • Analyse Singapore-specific market data to identify opportunities and trends.
  • Recommend strategies to optimize the sales mix and enhance sales processes.
  • Finally, leverage your knowledge of and/or network within the Singapore retail sector to accelerate the growth of key accounts.
Requirements
  • As an experienced manager, you ideally have a large network in the local retail sector in Singapore to enable the development of key accounts.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience.
  • Master's degree in sales, marketing (customer relationship negotiation, sales, marketing techniques)
  • Bilingual in French is preferred to communicate with the headquarters in France effectively. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and/or Malay would be an advantage for commercial purposes.
  • Good management skills (budgeting, accounting)
  • Proficiency in office tools and customer relationship software (CRM)
  • Solid understanding of internet technologies and related tools.
