Job Title: Restaurant Manager (Thai Cuisine)
Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations of our Thai restaurant. The role involves overseeing service quality, staff management, cost control, and ensuring an authentic Thai dining experience while achieving business targets.

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Service
  • Manage day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure smooth service
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer service
  • Ensure compliance with NEA, MOM, and food safety regulations
  • Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally
Staff Management
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise service and kitchen staff
  • Lead, motivate, and discipline staff to maintain teamwork and morale
  • Conduct staff performance reviews and on-the-job training
  • Ensure grooming, service etiquette, and SOPs are followed
Financial & Cost Control
  • Monitor daily sales, expenses, and profit margins
  • Control food cost, beverage cost, and manpower cost
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock checks
  • Prepare sales reports and assist in budgeting and forecasting
Menu & Quality Control
  • Work closely with chefs to maintain authentic Thai food standards
  • Assist in menu planning, pricing, and promotions
  • Ensure consistency in food presentation and portion control
Marketing & Sales
  • Support promotional campaigns, festive menus, and events
  • Build customer relationships and encourage repeat business
  • Coordinate with management on marketing strategies
Requirements
  • Minimum 2–5 years’ experience as Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager
  • Experience in Thai cuisine or Asian cuisine is a strong advantage
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Good knowledge of restaurant cost control and operations
  • Able to work weekends, public holidays, and shift hours
  • Proficient in English; Thai language is an advantage
