A renowned Indian restaurant in Singapore seeks an experienced Restaurant Cook to prepare a variety of traditional South and North Indian dishes. The role demands a minimum of 4 years' experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including night shifts and weekends. Candidates should be skilled in bulk cooking using a Combi-oven and demonstrate multitasking capabilities. Responsibilities also include managing cooking stations and adhering to safety standards while delivering high-quality meals.
The Restaurant Cook must be able to prepare and cook all the following food items as per our restaurant recipes. Must have experience in bulk cooking of south and north Indian food dishes using commercial combi‑oven in an automated food preparation environment. Duties include washing, cutting & preparing ingredients, following food health and safety procedures, assisting other cooks and staff, and delivering food in a fast‑paced environment. Must be willing to do multitasking roles, such as washing and cleaning cooking vessels, utensils and kitchen environment. Must be willing to work any shift, including night shift hours, weekends and public holidays.
