Main Duties and Responsibilities

Patient care

• Perform pulmonary function testing for patients as requested by physicians
• Exercise professional judgement to ensure patient safety
• Evaluate test reliability, patient’s performance, and clinical implications
• Schedule patient’s appointment for lung function tests

Service Quality

• Maintain timely and accurate records of patients’ information (Procedures performed, and results)
• Comply with established guidelines of infection control practices
• Perform calibration and quality checks
• Maintain emergency trolleys, resuscitative and medical equipment
• Check and maintain equipment and inventories
• Ensure safe environment for staff, patients and public
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the department
• Demonstrate TTSH Service with Excellence standards

General

• Demonstrate good interpersonal skills with the public and staff
• Provide guidance and support to new staff
• Exercise economy and care in the use of resources
• Monitor and requisite consumables and inventories
• Actively participate as a member for quality improvement projects at Hospital-wide / Departmental level
• Understand and follow hospital and departmental protocol for emergencies and disasters
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Head of department

Job Requirement

• On the job training will be provided
• Required to work shift duty(Day: 8AM – 5PM / 8:30AM – 5:30PM / 9AM – 6PM , Night: 8:30PM – 7:30AM)
