Job summary

A reputable engineering consultancy in Singapore is seeking a qualified professional for the supervision and coordination of Mechanical & Electrical works. The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of relevant experience in local developments, including hospitals and commercial projects. A diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering is required. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ (RTO) experience in supervision of M&E installation for local developments.
• Familiar with local codes and regulations.
• Experience in manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and co-ordinate all Mechanical & Electrical works.
• Ensure installations are according to Working/Approved Drawings.
• Attend site meetings and conduct site walks with developers.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Scope of works includes supervision and co-ordination of all Mechanical & Electrical works
• Ensure that all installations are in accordance with the Working / Approved Drawings, and applicable local Codes, Regulations and Standards.
• To attend site meetings and site walks with developer and consultants as required.
• Assist the Consultants in supervision and inspection of construction work on site.
• Monitor project progress schedule and quality standards.
• Maintain and update site records on project progress.
• Inspect and monitor quality of workmanship of M&E works on site.
• Check all drawings (including authority submission drawings and shop drawings)

Requirements

• Minimum qualification of Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services Engineering
• Minimum 8 years’ (RTO) experience in the supervision of M&E installation for local Hospital/Healthcare/Institution/Commercial developments
• Familiar with local codes and regulations
• Experience in manufacturing facilities
