Job summary

A leading civil engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced civil engineer to supervise various construction projects including geotechnical works and airport construction. Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering and at least 4 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in specialized areas. This role requires the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in civil engineering, with 3 years specifically in geotechnical works or airport construction.
• Possess a valid RTO cert by IES Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings.
• Supervise all civil and architectural works, plumbing, and drainage.
• Coordinate with contractors and relevant agencies for work.
• Evaluate and assess formwork structures and safety matters.

Job description

• To review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings
• To provide all relevant endorsements required by the relevant authorities
• Supervise all works including all civil and architectural works, plumbing, sanitary, drainage, irrigation and sewer system, commuters facilities, road works, trial trenches and utilities diversion etc.
• To coordinate the contractor, AC, QP(D), relevant agencies, including interfacing contractors and consultants etc for the works
• To review, evaluate and assess all formwork structure, formwork support systems systems and gantry crane and submit evaluation report endorsed by a PE
• To review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters
• To supervise the installation of instrumentation
• To supervise sanitary and plumbing installations, pump drainage works etc
• To review, evaluate and assess the monitoring of instrumentation and interpretation of the results and provide analytical results/presentations
• To review Contractor's design and supervise all works associated to micro-tunneling and mining, Flyover works, sewer diversion (including shaft construction and pipe-jacking operations.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering
• At least 4 years’ of experience, of which 3 years experience in either geotechnical works or airport construction.
• Possess a valid RTO cert by IES Singapore
