Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore seeks a Resident Technical Officer to assist with supervising and inspecting on-site construction work to ensure compliance with statutory and client requirements. Candidates should have a Diploma in Civil Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The role involves coordination with various teams and documentation of site records. Short-listed candidates will be notified.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in supervision of PSA Structure/ Industrial Experience.
• Resident Technical Officer Certificate accredited by IES / ACES.
• Conversant in statutory code and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Resident Engineer on-site in supervising and inspecting construction work.
• Work closely with C&S QP and contractors to resolve site issues.
• Maintaining and updating site records on progress of work and preparing reports.
• Monitor project progress schedule and quality standards.
• Ensure proper documentation of site inspection records and safety records.

JOB DESRCTION:

• Assist the Resident Engineer on-site in supervising and inspecting construction work on-site to ensure that all works comply with statutory and client requirements.
• Work closely with C&S QP, Resident Engineer and other Resident Technical Officers and contractors to resolve site issues and ensure timely project completion.
• Maintaining and updating site records on progress of work, housekeeping and preparing reports
• Coordinate with employer ,Consultant, PSA Operation team and contractors
• Monitor project progress schedule and quality standards
• To ensure proper documentation of site inspection records, safety records and approved /as-built drawing

REQUIREMENTS:

• Min Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in supervision of PSA Structure/ Industrial Experience.
• Resident Technical Officer Certificate accredited by IES / ACES.
• Conversant in statutory code and requirements.
• Good team player with strong interpersonal and communications skillsessential
