Job Role Description:

The Resident Technical Officer represents clients on construction sites. He/She must be able to read and interpret drawings and details of projects. He/She must inspect materials and workmanship. He/She makes sure that construction projects follow contracts and regulations. He/She performs tests to check the quality of materials. He/She makes sure that the client's orders are followed. He/She sometimes does the job of surveyors. He/She prepares progress reports for the clients.

He/She works indoors in offices. He/She may also work outdoors on construction sites.
