We have an opening in our Research team for a Senior Associate or Vice President to conduct research into Vietnamese companies. Sector coverage will be broad with a primary focus on Consumer, Industrials and Financials sectors. This position will be based in Singapore.

Primary Responsibilities

• Report to the Lead Analyst
• Perform thorough research on the assigned sectors, including sector analysis and investment recommendation
• Conduct company and sector research, including commercial and financial analysis, and equity valuation
• Develop and maintain close relationships with foreign institutional clients
• Engage in public relations and marketing activities to promote Jefferies's brand image and reputation including client presentations in Vietnam and abroad

Qualifications / Requirements

• Vietnamese language skills for partnership and analysis of local companies.
• Good understanding of Vietnam's financial markets.
• Strong finance and accounting background. Minimum 3-6 years of work experience in investment analysis. Candidates with working experience in an international and diverse environment preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, commerce, banking or economics. MBA or CFA is an asset.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, ability to perform qualitative industry and business analyses.
• Team player and able to work with other sector Researchers.
