A leading research institute in Singapore seeks dedicated Research Officers to advance studies on post-transcriptional regulation in cancer. Applicants should have a Bachelor or Master degree in Life Sciences and practical experience with RNA and cell culture techniques. The role involves conducting studies, developing assays, and assisting in lab operations. Ideal candidates will be organized team players eager to collaborate on innovative RNA therapeutic projects.
The Vasudevan lab, moving to Genome Institute of Singapore (GIS) in September 2025, conducts cutting‑edge research on post‑transcriptional regulation in refractory cancers and develops RNA therapeutics. The lab collaborates with academia, clinical groups, and industries, to combine their RNA mechanistic studies with AI and therapeutic platforms to target cancer and other disease.
The lab is seeking skilled and dedicated Research Officers with experience in cancer and molecular biology, RNA profiling and cell culture techniques. Expertise with immune cells is especially appreciated, or with primary cells including patient samples, organoids, or in vivo models. The candidates will work with the PI and the team, and with collaborators to perform RNA and cancer studies, develop new assays, perform profiling assays, and assist in the day‑to‑day operation of the lab.
Interested applicants should submit their CV, a cover letter detailing relevant experience and research interests to shobhavas@gmail.com.
