Job summary

A leading educational institution is seeking a Research Engineer/Research Assistant to join its Coastal Protection projects. The successful candidate will assist in project management and the administration of research projects at the Coastal Protection and Flood Resilience Institute in Singapore. Applicants should have at least a recognized bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering, strong communication skills, and quantitative knowledge. Prior research and project management experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Possess at least a recognised bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering or related discipline related to coastal, ocean and hydraulic engineering.
  • Strong written and spoken communication.
  • Strong quantitative knowledge and application skills.
  • Prior experience with research and project management are advantageous.
  • Open to fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities

  • Join research projects of Coastal Protection at NUS.
  • Assist on Project Management and administration of research projects at Coastal Protection and Flood Resilience Institute (CFI) Singapore.
