Job summary

A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is seeking an R&D Assistant to support the R&D department with food seasoning compounding and application development. The ideal candidate will hold a diploma in Food Science or Food Technology and have at least 1 year of experience in food seasoning. Responsibilities include maintaining the R&D laboratory, conducting quality checks, and supporting the development of new seasoning methods. Attractive salary package of $2500 - $3000 offered.

R&D Assistant

• 0830am to 1730pm / 5 days

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support the R&D department in seasoning compounding, new development and application.
• Support monthly new seasoning or application method development and promotional items.
• Request new raw materials or flavor sourcing for product development.
• Handle new raw material registration, documentation and evaluation.
• Perform QC such as sensory and visual checks on finished products and raw materials.
• Evaluate current and alternative food ingredients.
• Maintain the R&D laboratory and ensure cleanliness.
• Carry out plant hygiene checks.
• Assist in running and maintaining HACCP and Halal quality system and documentation.
• Any other work as assigned by the Company.
