Job Description: Research Assistant

Location: Buona Vista

Employment Type: Contract

Contract Duration: 1st April 2026 to 31st March 2028 (24 months)

Potential for Extension: Yes, with a possible 1-year extension until March 2029.

Salary Range: S$3,800 - S$4,200 per month

Key Responsibilities
  • Research Support: Assist in the implementation and execution of a research study on the effectiveness of SPED Teaching and Learning Syllabuses.
  • Data Management: Record, analyze, and evaluate data collected from research studies and stakeholder engagement sessions.
  • Literature Analysis: Conduct comprehensive literature reviews in the fields of psychology, education, and special education to support syllabus implementation.
  • Project Implementation: Provide direct support to SPED schools for the rollout and adoption of the new syllabuses.
Who We Are Looking For (Qualifications & Experience)

Must-Have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or Special Education (or an equivalent field).

Good-to-Have (Preferred):

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in conducting literature reviews and research.
  • A strong interest and background in the fields of psychology, education, or special education.
Work Schedule & Conditions
  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM (with 1-hour lunch break)
  • Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (with 1-hour lunch break)
  • Weekends and Public Holidays: Off
