- Design and implement strategic plans in developing and maintaining CIMB Private Banking client base and growing the revenue and asset under management to achieve business objectives.
- Promote CIMB Private Banking brand and products, and continually enhance value propositions and products offering which will add value to both the bank as well as clients.
- Works closely with other PB offices across the Group to provide bank wide solutions to high net worth clients.
Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning- Design and implement strategic plans in developing and maintaining CIMB Private Banking client base and growing the revenue and asset under management to achieve business objectives.
- Promote CIMB Private Banking brand and products, and continually enhance value propositions and products offering which will add value to both the bank as well as clients.
- Works closely with other PB offices across the Group to provide bank wide solutions to high net worth clients.
Business Performance and Management- Achieve AUM, profitability and any other target as set by Management.
- Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain the client base through analyzing needs and proactively implementing/monitoring solutions to meet client needs.
- Analyses & Identifies investment and credit solution gaps with suitable recommendations based on Client’s Investment Personality Profiler.
- Cooperate closely with other PB bankers for client referrals and execution of cross-border deals.
- Focus on networking activities with clients, referrals and prospects.
- Proactively establish working relationship with internal business units to provide comprehensive financial and wealth management solutions to target clients.
- Meet or exceed KPI set by Management/Supervisors so as to ensure overall business profitability goals assessment.
People Management- To work well with their assistants, Client Service Managers.
Regulatory Compliance- Establish and carry out activities to ensure sales processes are in accordance with bank’s policies/procedures and respective markets’ regulations.
Requirements
Qualifications- University Degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Economics or related field.
Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing Requirements- CACS certification, and any other relevant regulatory requirements.
Relevant Work Experience- Minimally 5-7 years of experience, and a proven track record of success in building relationships and developing new client relationships.
Technical/Functional Skills- Strong background in investments, corporate finance, banking or related advisory services.
- Good product knowledge - Capital Markets, Risk Management, Investment Management, and Trust and Estate Planning would be an advantage.
Personal Skills (Soft Competencies)- Strong interpersonal skills with external and internal clients with keen interest in client services.
- Mature & experienced in handling various types of client scenarios.
- Understands the profile of various High-Net-Worth individuals in order to deliver excellent holistic service.
- Sales driven and compliance consciousness.
- Detail oriented, adapt at problem solving.
- Comfortable in working in fast paced environment.
