Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Training & Development (Primary Focus):
- Design, update, and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs for new B2B sales hires.
- Develop advanced training curriculum focused on B2B sales methodologies, negotiation skills, product knowledge, market trends, and cultural nuances of the Southeast Asia market.
- Conduct training needs analysis for the sales team and create targeted programs (e.g., L2C process, enterprise selling, SME client management) to address performance gaps.
- Coach sales representatives on effective techniques for both large account management and high-volume SME client acquisition.
2. Regional Program Management:
- Facilitate engaging and effective training sessions through various formats: in-person workshops, virtual classrooms, and e-learning modules.
- Customize global training materials to be relevant for the local Southeast Asian context.
- Travel periodically within the Southeast Asia region to deliver training and build rapport with local teams.
3. Cross-Functional Training:
- Develop and deliver foundational training modules for other departments (e.g., Customer Success, Marketing, Operations) to support overall organizational excellence.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps and create appropriate training solutions.
4. Program Effectiveness:
- Establish metrics and evaluation methods (e.g., quizzes, skills assessments, post-training performance KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and ROI of all training initiatives.
- Continuously refine and improve training content and delivery based on feedback and business results.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years in a training or learning & development role, with a proven track record in designing and delivering B2B sales training programs.
- Experience in the Southeast Asia market is highly advantageous.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of B2B sales cycles, preferably with exposure to both enterprise (large B) and small-medium business (SMB/SME) segments.
Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is desirable. Relevant professional certifications in training (e.g., ACTA, CPTD) would be beneficial.
- Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and public speaking skills.
- Strong instructional design capabilities for creating engaging content.
- Ability to build rapport, coach, and motivate individuals and teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in another Southeast Asian language (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Vietnamese) will be beneficial for engaging with regional partners but is not a hiring requirement.
