Job Summary

You will develop regional market customers and establish the sales network layout for the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and international markets, driving strategic growth and fostering long‑term business relationships in the offshore engineering and shipbuilding sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic sales network layouts tailored to the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and international markets by conducting in‑depth research on regional needs and cultural contexts.
  • Collect and analyze market industry data, including laws, regulations, tax policies, and environmental factors, to identify market trends, target customers, competitor activities, and optimize pricing strategies.
  • Gather and evaluate customer information through diverse channels such as internet research, emails, exhibitions, site visits, and direct communication to identify and pursue potential cooperation opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regional market customers by organizing and participating in visits and receptions, presenting company capabilities and products, understanding customer needs, and delivering customized service plans.
  • Assist in qualifying potential customers by reviewing compliance with local regulations to ensure eligibility for project bidding.
  • Support the formulation of project bidding strategies by reviewing bidding documents for alignment with customer requirements and local regulations, and contribute to determining final bid pricing.
  • Participate in contract negotiations to ensure business terms comply with local laws and market regulations while safeguarding company interests.
  • Review contract terms to assess execution risks, coordinate with relevant departments, and facilitate contract signing.
  • Organize project reviews to summarize experiences and lessons learned, ensuring continuous improvement and smooth progress of future projects.
  • Lead project kick‑off meetings and coordinate the transfer of bidding project documents to legal and project management teams for execution.
  • Maintain customer relationships throughout project execution, manage contract payments and changes, and participate in project budget monitoring and control.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams including technology, procurement, project management, and legal departments to ensure successful bidding and negotiation outcomes.
  • Demonstrate high self‑discipline, resilience under stress, and self‑motivation to sustain performance in high‑intensity negotiations and long‑term relationship management.
  • Uphold a transparent, trustworthy, and stable professional attitude to foster consistent business results.
Required competencies and certifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore engineering or shipbuilding industries with practical project operation expertise.
  • At least 2 years of experience in regional market expansion with familiarity of business environments and cultural differences in target regions.
  • Deep understanding of the upstream, midstream, and downstream industry chain, EPCIC general contracting models, and oil and gas market trends.
  • Proficiency in independently building key customer maps for regional markets.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of international bidding processes (RFQ/EOI → Clarification → Technical/Communication Proposal → Final Offer) and all major engineering life cycle stages to anticipate and mitigate execution risks during business development.
  • Understanding of offshore engineering equipment design, construction processes, and industry standards for FPSO, FLNG, FPU, Jack‑up, WHP, and PP.
  • Familiarity with EPCIC contract frameworks and ability to identify key business risks including liquidated damages, letters of intent, interface issues, changes, tax, insurance, and local compliance.
  • Capability to identify genuine project opportunities through exhibitions, consultants, partners, and internal resources.

  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple departments to complete bidding and negotiation processes effectively.
  • Strong professional attitude characterized by transparency, trustworthiness, and stability under pressure.
