Job description

Key Accountabilities

Occupational Health & Safety

• Develop and implement regional OHS policies, procedures, and training programmes.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety audits; support internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, ISO 45001 standards, and company policies.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen workplace safety culture.

Facility Management & Maintenance

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programmes across regional facilities.
• Ensure building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection) meet safety and operational standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors on repairs, upgrades, and maintenance works.
• Monitor energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records for maintenance schedules, inspections, and compliance certifications.

Training & Awareness

• Conduct safety training for employees and contractors.
• Promote health, safety, and emergency preparedness awareness programmes.

Emergency Preparedness

• Develop and maintain emergency response plans for all regional sites.
• Organise drills and ensure readiness for fire, chemical, and natural disaster scenarios.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on HSE performance and facility maintenance KPIs.
• Maintain audit and regulatory compliance documentation.
