Job Purpose

The Regional First Choice Analyst is responsible for leading data analysis initiatives and providing insights that enhance business performance. This role involves examining complex data sets to extract actionable insights and support data-driven solutions. The analyst will identify interpret and present intricate data trends to facilitate informed decision-making across the organization.

In addition to analysis the Analyst is adept at developing and implementing business solutions that address identified challenges and opportunities. They understand the purpose of data including how to capture it from various channels manipulate interpret and apply it effectively. With the ability to describe predict and enhance business performance the analyst bridges data and solutions crafting clear and compelling business narratives that drive strategic outcomes and foster organizational growth.

Key Tasks
  1. Strategic Analysis and Planning:
    • Understand business needs and define project scope.
    • Align initiatives with overall business goals to ensure strategic coherence.
  2. Requirements Gathering and Management:
    • Elicit analyze document and manage requirements from various stakeholders.
    • Ensure requirements are clear concise and testable for effective implementation.
  3. Data Analysis and Interpretation:
    • Analyze large datasets to identify trends patterns and insights that align with business objectives.
    • Translate complex data into understandable information for stakeholders.
  4. Process Analysis and Improvement:
    • Identify inefficiencies bottlenecks and areas for optimization in existing business processes.
    • Recommend and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  5. Developing Data-Driven Solutions:
    • Create data models reports and visualizations to support decision-making.
    • Drive strategic changes based on data insights and analysis.
  6. Stakeholder Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
    • Effectively communicate analysis findings and facilitate informed decision-making.
  7. Problem Solving:
    • Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex analytical challenges.
    • Develop innovative solutions to overcome obstacles and enhance performance.
  8. Data Quality and Integrity:
    • Maintain data accuracy security and integrity throughout the analysis process.
    • Ensure compliance with data governance standards and best practices.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a business-related area e.g. Bachelor degree
  • Advanced knowledge and strong command of statistical analysis data mining data modelling and visualization tools (SQL MS 365 Tableau Power BI etc.) MS Office (Excel Powerpoint) etc.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional operational experience; preferably in transportation airline logistics industries. Excellent Analytic numeric written and oral communication skills
  • Training / Facilitating skills self-motivated and resourceful
  • Project Management and Change Management skills
